CERAMIC LINED
Cast Steel, Stainless Steel Body Valves, Piping and Fittings, Ceramic Lined internally
WHAT IS CERAMIC
Ceramic is an inorganic non-metallic solid material made from natural powders by moulding and sintering at high temperature. It’s traditional ceramic or silicate ceramics that are made from clay and other natural mineral materials through crushing, shaping and calcination.
Ceramics compared to Teflon has high strength, high hardness, high temperature resistance, high wear resistance, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, thermal shock resistance and excellent electrical, magnetic, acoustic, and optical characteristics.
Ceramic lined items are available in many valve types, manual control or actuated. Also available in pipe lined and fittings like elbows, tees etc. External body materials in CS, WCB, or stainless steel.
Mechanical properties: high modulus of elasticity, high brittleness, brittle fracture mode. (would rather break than bend) low plasticity and toughness, difficult to process (no diamond drill) extremely high hardness, good wear resistance.
The design of Ceramic Lined Ball Valve seats is a double sealing structure. The first line seals are with a scraper-type principle. The seats are also self-cleaning. The seat and spherical surface keep our valves clean and with no residue. The second seal is a face-to-face seal. Our valve seat is designed with self-compensation performance, which is effective enough to ensure long service life of our valves.
PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS
Chemical properties: high temperature oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance.(HF, strong alkali)
Strength characteristics of ceramic materials: actual strength is 1/10-1/100 of theoretical strength, brittle. The key to improve the strength of ceramics is to control the porosity and defects (cracks and dislocations).
•Structural ceramics: alumina, zirconia, carbides, nitrides, Silon ceramics.
•Alumina: Ivory color, is a kind of ceramic material with a-Al2O3 as the main crystalline phase. Al2O3 content generally ranges from 75% to 99.9%. It is usually classified into 75, 80, 85, 90, 92, 95 and 99 ceramics according to the content. We use high purity alumina 99(or above) ceramics.
•Zirconia: Milky white. There are three kinds of crystals, monoclinic, cubic and tetragonal. We uses tetragonal crystals with the best comprehensive properties, good mechanical properties and small crystal size.
•Silicon nitride: Charcoal color, with remarkable high heat shock resistance and high strength.
CERAMIC LINED VALVES
Ceramic Control Valves adopt three-stage structure and fixed ball design to achieve higher pressure difference. The ball is always in the centre axis motion, no displacement because of pressure difference change, and it has the properties of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and crushing resistance.
Silicon carbide: Black, the hardness of silicon carbide is second only to diamond and boron carbide, is a high thermal conductivity, high heat shock resistance and strength durability, in all fine ceramic materials, its corrosion resistance is the highest.
Ceramic valves are used in thermal power plants, steel, petroleum, chemical industry, paper making, biological engineering, and other industries. It is suitable for conveying boiler steam, lime slurry, seawater containing particles, high hardness particles, soft particles with corrosive medium, powder, flue gas desulfurization, ash removal, slag removal and water treatment. The material of ceramic valves can be changed according to different working conditions.
CERAMIC LINED PIPING AND FITTINGS
The wear-resistant ceramic pipes and fittings are made of steel as the outer shell and lined with alumina ceramic. Ceramic is used to prevent damage and erosion to pipelines, prevent leakage due to wear, and greatly extend the service life of pipelines.
· Ceramic lined it is 10-20 times more wear-resistant than ordinary pipelines
· The ceramic lining and inorganic adhesive can resist acid and alkali corrosion
· High temperature resistance up to 350 ℃ for extensive duration of time
· Anti seismic and thermal expansion and contraction
· Smooth inner and outer walls with unobstructed airflow, smooth surface allows materials to pass freely without hanging or blocking materials
· Easy to install, easy to handle
· Reduce maintenance with stronger wear resistance which reduces the frequency of maintenance
ALUMIINA CERAMIC PIPE
Wear resistant ceramic pipe is a type of alumina ceramic, which can be divided into ceramic straight pipe, bent pipe, conical pipe, three-way ceramic pipe, variable diameter ceramic pipe, perforated ceramic pipe, etc. according to their shape and purpose. Aluminium oxide ceramic tubes are formed using isostatic pressing technology.
After the ceramic tube is formed, it is processed by a lathe to the appropriate size and made into various shapes. Ceramic pipes have the characteristics of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and high mechanical strength.
